Have you heard of Dubai’s Miracle Garden? Composed of an 800m perimeter wall and four kilometres of pathways decked with bright flowers compared to the Garden of Eden in the middle of the desert!
The park was launched on Valentine’s Day 2013. Embellished with flowers on the ground and hanging from heart-shaped arches, the garden have up to 45 million flowers. It is currently a candidate for a Guinness Record for the world’s longest flower wall with a one-km circumference. There are at least 45 natural colors found in the Miracle Garden.
Besides the flower-decked perimeter wall, many other features give surety to Miracle Garden’s grandeur. Each area has special vertical and horizontal landscaping designs from arc-shaped walkways, pathway covered with colorful mini-umbrellas for shade, 10-metre-high flower pyramids, outdoor water pools, and flower-decked vintage or designer cars. Throughout the garden you can see heart shaped and star shaped flowerbeds, layers and igloos too. A golf cart can be requested for special-needs or elderly visitors. There are public toilets, ablution and prayer rooms.
Retail outlets, restaurants, souvenir shops, plant nurseries and a multi-storey car park will form part of the destination in the second phase of its development. Work will start on site in mid-2013. Dubai’s Miracle Garden also holds the world's biggest flower clock and a huge pyramid of flowers with a base area of 144m and a height of 10m!
